Who are we and what do these terms cover?
This website, aplastering.co.uk (formerly walsallwallexperts.co.uk), is run by Wojciech Pankowski, trading as aPlastering, a sole trader based in Walsall, West Midlands ("I", "me"). Postal address: Somerfield Road, Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 2EW. Email: dj.k1bee@gmail.com. Phone: 07763 789272.
By using the website you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. How I handle personal data is explained separately in the privacy policy and cookie policy.
Are the prices on this website a quote?
No. Prices on this website, such as "from about £2,000 per wall" for internal wall insulation or "from about £1,700 per bay" for bay window insulation, are guide prices to help you plan. They are not an offer.
- All work is subject to a free home visit (survey) and a written quotation.
- The quotation sets out the scope, price, timings, guarantee and any terms specific to the job. Once you accept it, that quotation and its terms form our contract.
- If anything in the quotation differs from this website, the quotation applies.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to cancel certain contracts made at your home within 14 days, are not affected, and are explained in the quotation where they apply.
Can I rely on the guides and information on this site?
The guides, case study and service pages are general information to help you understand common problems such as cold walls, condensation and mould. They are not professional advice for your specific building.
Every house is different. Wall construction, condition, damp, ventilation and use all affect what is safe and suitable, which is why I assess each property before recommending anything. Please don't carry out work, or decide against it, based only on this website. Figures such as heat loss reductions or surface temperatures are calculated for the example described and will differ for your home.
I try to keep the information accurate and up to date, but I can't guarantee it is complete or current, for example where regulations or grant schemes change.
Are the photos on this site of your work?
Photos described as being from my jobs are real. Some other images on the site are illustrations, used to show typical situations such as a cold room or a street of houses, and do not show my work or real customers.
Who owns the content on this website?
The text, photos, illustrations, design and logo on this website belong to me or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, and share links to them. You may not copy, republish or use the content commercially without my written permission.
How may I use the website?
Please use the site lawfully. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce viruses or harmful code, send spam through the forms or chat, or use automated tools to scrape its content. I may restrict access to the site, or remove content, at any time. I don't guarantee the site will always be available or free from errors or viruses, so please use your own virus protection.
What about links to other websites?
Where this site links to other websites or mentions other organisations, such as manufacturers or government guidance, that's for information only. I have no control over those sites and am not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
What is my liability for the website?
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be excluded under English law.
Subject to that, and because the website is provided free of charge as general information, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or reliance on its content. If you use the site for business purposes, I am not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue or opportunity. My responsibilities for any building work are set out in the written quotation for that work.
How do I raise a concern?
If you're unhappy with anything about the website or how I've dealt with you, contact me on 07763 789272 or dj.k1bee@gmail.com. I'll look into it and aim to respond within 15 working days, although some matters may take longer.
Can these terms change?
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date shown at the top, applies whenever you use the site.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
